But Scripture is clear:
“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
(Philippians 3:20)
God didn’t just rescue you.
He invited you.
He chose you.
He made you His citizen — not because of what you’ve done, but because of what Christ did on the cross.
What Does It Mean to Be a Kingdom Citizen?
It means your true identity isn’t in your status, your denomination, your past, or your struggles.
It’s in Christ.
You’re a co-heir.
You’re a child of God.
You’ve been handpicked by the King of Kings.
And with that comes:

What “Upend” Really Means
Our brand, Upend, stands for something radical.
The word literally means: to flip upside down.
We take inspiration from how earthly kingdoms work:
“We the people” choose the king (president).
But in God’s Upend Kingdom,
The King chooses the citizens.
That’s what we represent.
That’s what we wear.
That’s what we preach.
That’s what we believe.
No Denominations in God’s Kingdom
Here’s a core truth we hold at Upend:
Your denomination doesn’t save you — Jesus does.
We don’t divide the Church by labels.
We unite it through the Gospel.
What Christ did on the cross — dying for our sins and rising again — is what makes us one.
Not church names.
Not theological debates.
Not Sunday styles.
Our mission is to unify the Church, grow in kingdom identity, and help others discover who they truly are — through Him.
Your Identity Isn’t Missing — It’s Misplaced
We often miss who we are because we’re focused on what we lack.
That’s exactly how Eve was deceived in the garden.
The enemy attacked her identity, telling her:
“You’ll be like God if you eat this fruit…”
But she already was like God.
She was made in His image — already chosen, already enough.
And we are too.
When we don’t know who we are, we chase things that were never meant to define us.
The Gospel Is an Invitation — Not a Secret
That’s why everything we create — from shirts to water bottles — is designed to be a conversation starter.
